MUTOMO ART PROJECT (뮤토모)는 MUseum TO MOdern ART PROJECT의 약어로, 박물관이나 갤러리의 작품을 현대적으로 재해석하여 리빙 가구 및 오브제로 활용할 수 있도록 기획하고 디자인하는 브랜드입니다. 또한, 유럽에서 독창적인 가구와 테이블웨어를 수입하여 국내에 소개하고 있습니다.

MUTOMO (뮤토모) 가구는 바우하우스의 산업과 예술의 조화를 모티브로 하여 실용적이면서도 모던한 디자인을 추구합니다. 바우하우스 예술정신을 현대적으로 재해석하며, 직선과 도형, 다채로운 색채를 통해 생동감을 불러일으키고, 동시에 실용적이면서 감각적인 가구를 제작합니다.

특히, 뮤토모의 시그니처 클리퍼 레그(Clipper Leg)는 스틸을 사용하여 어린이들의 성장에 따라 레그를 교체하는 실용성을 강조하고 있습니다. 더불어 곧게 떨어지는 직선과 다양한 색채의 조화를 통해 모던하고 독창적인 느낌을 전합니다.

MUTOMO는 덴마크의 TAKT 가구를 공식 수입하여 디자이너 Thomas Bentzen의 독창성을 국내에 소개하고 있으며, 뉴욕 현대미술관(MoMA)에서 소개되고 있는 mono의 감각적인 테이블웨어도 국내에 소개하고 있습니다. mono는 독일의 테이블웨어 제조기업으로, 예술적이고 독특한 제품을 생산하며 125년의 전통을 자랑합니다. 이러한 다양한 제품들을 뮤토모에서 만나볼 수 있습니다.

MUTOMO ART PROJECT imports furniture, designs, and artwork from overseas to introduce them to Korea. 

At the same time, we collaborate with various artists to create more creative and practical furniture and accessories.

 Additionally, as an ART PROJECT COMPANY, we discover works by Korean and overseas artists and carry out exhibition planning through our own studio. MUTOMO ART PROJECT places great importance on sustainability and strives for sustainable production and sales.
